Course Audience
This course is for those responsible for handling photo review in high-volume e-commerce photo studios. This course walks students through the process of reviewing, approving, rejecting, and proving feedback on images in Creative Force.
Description
It is often the case in studios that images that have been selected by the Art Director need to go through a final photo review process. The review may be the client, a studio director, or another stakeholder who executes a review of the selected images and provides their final stamp of approval before the assets are sent off to post-production.
Different studios handled the photo review step process differently, but, more often than not, that process leaves a lot to be desired. If you’ve had to handle photo review before (outside of Creative Force), you’ve probably experienced some of the following:
- Downloading and uploading images from an FTP or cloud-service which involves navigating a labyrinth of disorganized folders
- Lack of access to reference images and style guides to help ensure you are following up-to-date style guidelines
- A lack of clarity about what images still need to be reviewed
- A lack of transparency about what stage of the approval process an image is in
- An inability to provide clear feedback on images that you reject and need to send back to post-production
- Only being able to review images if you are logged into your local network
All the above make for a frustrating and inefficient photo review process. We designed the Creative Force photo review tools with the goal of removing all the inefficiencies and frustrations typically associated with the photo review process.
In this course, we will dive deep into the features that drive QC in Creative Force. This will include learning how to:
- Navigate the Photo Review Kanban board
- Pick a task to work on
- Swapping selected images for preferred images
- Uploading additional alternate images
- Approving images
- Making rejections and providing feedback
- Utilizing the information in the product and styling tab
At the end of it all, you’ll receive a shiny new Creative Force for Photo Review certificate you can share on LinkedIn to let the world know you are certified in Creative Force for Photo Review and a master of “Flow Production.”
