Course Audience
This course is for those using our Planning Module to plan their production schedules and resources directly in Creative Force.
Description
Speaking with creative studios around the globe, we heard a similar frustration again and again. Studios, even those using Creative Force, were using tools like spreadsheets and Sharepoint to manage to plan their production schedules. When were the shoots happening? What sets were being used? What teams were shooting which products? What products were being shot when? All of this information was captured in a some master document.
The issue? Those documents had no way of communicating with Creative Force once production began resulting in two separate records creatives and studio leaders needed to track, manage, and update. Those documents also don’t offer any data insights to help improve the planning stage of production.
To address this, we developed our Planning module to bring all the information from this planning spreadsheet and Sharepoints directly into Creative Force. Our Planning module allows your production plan to connect directly with what’s going on in production, live-update based on what’s happening on the floor, and provide efficiency insights to help users improve their allocation of resources.
In this course, we cover all of the core features and use cases of our Planning module, including:
- A tour of our Planning calendar
- Configuring your Creative Force account to use Planning
- An overview of our new object, Sessions
- Use cases for our powerful Filters feature
- How to manage sets in Planning
- How to manage your team in Planning
At the end of this course, you’ll understand every step of our Planning module and you’ll earn a shiny new Creative Force certificate to prove it.
